Join us for a beginner clay workshop at Shindig Cider in San Luis Obispo! We will be making a Ceramic Matcha Bowl for you matcha lovers! You will learn the basics of working with clay using the pinch pot method and decorating using stamps! Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a date night, whichever it is, you're guaranteed a fun time! Adriana Lemus will guide you through this intro to clay workshop!
The $75 fee includes terra cotta clay, all materials and tools to use during the workshop, glaze and firing, instruction by an experienced ceramic artist, and your first glass of cider (for 21+)! Once your pottery is created, you will leave it with the instructor where she will take it back to her studio in San Luis Obispo to be fired, glazed (painted), and fired a second time. This process takes about 4-5 weeks. When complete, your piece will be brought back to Shindig to be picked up.
