Join us for a beginner Ceramic Femme Mug Workshop at The Bunker in San Luis Obispo! Adriana Lemus will teach you how to make your own Travel Mug and The Bunker will provide you with delicious snacks to fuel the creativity! You will learn the basics of working with clay using the slab construction method and decorating by sculpting and texturing clay.
The $75 ticket fee includes white stoneware clay, all materials and tools to use during the workshop, glaze and firing, instruction by an experienced ceramic artist, and small bites! Once your mug is created, you will leave it with the Adriana, where she will take it back to her studio in San Luis Obispo to be fired, glazed (painted), and fired a second time. This process takes about 4-6 weeks. When complete, your pottery will be brought back to the The Bunker to be picked up.
